Henley lost the toss and were asked to field with the sun out at Nettlebed.
Henley took a different approach by opening up with the off spin of Joshua Ellison and the experience of Taylor to good effect with wickets falling early to really set the scene for a dominant display. Ellison was excellent with figures of 6-3-5-2. Jackson Tate replaced Taylor after just a few overs and found his rhythm with a good spell of 2-29. Akanch Naik replaced Ellison to continue to the spin attack from that end and after being hit out of the park by M&B captain Hinkel recovered to get the wicket of Hinkel and finish with 3-20. Fletcher Bramley bowled a tidy spell at the end picking up 1-11.
M&S were all out for 75 after a very good performance from the bowlers and some good catching.
Surplice and Tait opened the innings for Henley in chasing down and runs and both batted patiently, with some good running to keep the scoreboard ticking. There stand of 38 set the foundation for a relatively simple win with Tate top scoring with 27. Henley lost only 2 wickets and Ellison and De Kock finished the game.
