On a sunny morning Marlow 1's won the toss and elected to bat.
Henley struck early through 2 wickets for Wheeler who finished the day with figures of 3-61. However, Marlow started to rebuild the innings through Arif (53)and Syal (34) but 112-2 soon turned to 159-7 with the introduction of Wellings (2-56 ) and Desai (3-70). Ali (41) maintained some momentum and with Geary (20) managed to see Marlow through to finish on 224-9 from 52 overs.
A new opening partnership of Safi and Radhakrishnan made short work of the bowling attack with both batsman hitting an array of shots. Safi hit a beautiful 103 from 98 balls before falling for the first wicket with the score on 205, and effectively the job done. Radhakrishnan fell just a few short of his ton, 92 from 69 balls, run out backing up when Bradbury drove straight back to the bowler. This left Bradbury and captain Hilditch to see through the final runs for a 8 wicket victory.
