A return to winning ways for the Lynx team taking the learnings we took from last week, and putting them to use against Reading Tigers. Getting us off to a good start Freddie Postlethwaite with 14 runs and Wilf Oseman 19 runs. Toby Wood with 13 runs and an excellent attacking finish from Josh Price with 23 runs off 16 balls. Reading CC had some excellent consistent bowlers. Setting a total of 287 runs, the Lynx team with great energy in the field; the fielding was exceptional with runs outs, catches and good backing up. Jack Saker, Toby Wood and Max Gilligan all too 3 wickets, Josh Price with 2 wickets, and Harry Simpson taking a wicket and only conceding 3 runs from his two overs. I counted another 4 LBW's we could have had if we were playing those rules as well. A strong batting middle order from Reading saw one of their batsman score 31 runs. On to the next one!

The entrance is via a 5-bar gate off Emmer Green Road. If coming from Henley, go past the crossroads for about 300 metres. You’ll see the sight screens on the right-hand side. Turn right off the main road. If coming from Caversham, the gate entrance is on your left.

Parking - Please park by the stakes near the roadside trees. Don’t drive around to the pavilion.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times due to the proximity to the polo ponies in the surrounding fields. They have a tendency to be easily spooked.
