TRAINING FOR THE UNDER 9S AND UNDER 11S TODAY, SUNDAY 12TH JUNE, HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE RAIN.

Henley Cricket Club offers a fantastic junior development programme for boys and girls from the age of 6 years (School year 3) and above. We have a great team of ECB qualified coaches directed under the leadership of Chris Ellison (ECB Level 4 qualified coach). Chris and the team of coaches co-ordinate and deliver the highest quality coaching tuition throughout the summer and winter months. We offer competitive matches in the Berkshire Youth Cricket League (BYCL) for under 9s, under 11s, under 13s and under 15s age groups. The club is extremely proud of its development pathway with many players going on to representative honours with Berkshire District and County age groups.

Coaching for these age groups in the summer months is as follows:

Under 9s: Sunday mornings beginning Sunday 1^st May from 9am to 10.30am. The first Sunday morning session will be at Gillotts School due to Henley CC hosting Berkshire CCC on the same day. All other Sunday morning sessions will be at Henley CC except Sunday 12^th June (county match) and Sunday 3^rd July (regatta Sunday).

 We’ve also planned an extra Friday evening session for the under 9 age group beginning on Friday 29^th April at Henley Cricket Club from 6pm to 7pm. Friday sessions through May and June only in 2011 from 6pm to 7.15pm.

 From Sunday 24^th July onwards including all August and September sessions our under 9  and under 11 groups will merge running from 10am to 11.30am each morning.

Under 11s: Sunday mornings beginning Sunday 1^st May from 10.45am to 12.15pm. The first Sunday morning session will be at Gillotts School due to Henley CC hosting Berkshire CCC on the same day. All other Sunday morning sessions will be at Henley CC except Sunday 12^th June (county match) and Sunday 3^rd July (regatta Sunday).

 We’ve also planned an extra Friday evening session for the under 11 age group beginning on Friday 29^th April at Henley Cricket Club from 7pm to 8pm. Friday sessions through May and June only in 2011 from 7.15pm to 8.30pm.

 From Sunday 24^th July onwards including all August and September sessions our under 9 and under 11 groups will merge running from 10am to 11.30am each morning.

Under 13s: Saturday mornings from 9am to 10.30am at Gillotts Secondary School beginning Saturday 30^th April going through to mid July. Thereafter, all players are invited to join in the Sunday morning session, Sunday 24^th July, from 10am to 11.30am

Under 15s: Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12pm at Gillotts Secondary School. ALL players in the under 15 squads are invited to train with our senior squads on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5.30pm to 8pm beginning  Tuesday 26^th April at Henley Cricket Club
