Welcome to Henley Juniors

Henley Cricket Club is proud of the work it does to develop young cricketers of all abilities. The overall objectives are that young people enjoy the game, learn the basic skills and achieve their potential.

We take our cricket and our training seriously but always focus on having fun and so in addition to over 100 fixtures taking place during the summer, the club are keen to include all members in their frequent socials, from the Annual Summer Ball held in a Henley Regatta marquee on the riverside, to the Junior end of season award night.

Our links with local schools in the community are very strong as the club has been selected to participate in the nationwide “Chance to Shine” initiative run by the Cricket Foundation. This involves our ECB club coaches delivering weekly coaching sessions in both secondary and primary schools in the area and also being involved with the Henley Youth Festival.

The club is always keen to attract new members at all age-groups and initial enquiries should be directed to Greg Stone, Junior Chairman by emailing info@henleycricketclub.co.uk

Juniors Registration

Henley Cricket Club has a thriving Youth Section which provides cricket for approximately 200 youngsters between the ages of 7 (year 2) and 17. The club fields teams at U9, U11, U13 and U15 which play league fixtures in the Berkshire Youth League and the Two Counties League.

The club also has a flourishing girls team. The girls enjoy competitive games and cricket festivals with Berkshire Girls Cricket. Ages range from 7 to 15 and Henley are particularly keen to attract more girls to play team cricket.

Youngsters playing cricket at Henley receive coaching from ECB qualified coaches and the club has implemented all the recommended procedures for Child Protection and First Aid.
